Participation in Working Groups

  • WG2 - Structural analysis of biomolecules involved in mechanobiology
  • WG3 - New methodologies to study mechanobiology of cells and tissues

Research Interests

I am interested in chromatin architecture. Currently we are investigating the possible role of single strand breaks and RNA/DNA hybrids in transciption regulation. Furthermore we are investigating the effect of histone destabilization to chromatin structure and function.

Technologies offered to other EuroCellNet participants

Knowledge using Confocal and Laser Scanning Microscopy. We have developed a nucleosome elution assay in our lab, recently published article below. DNA combing.

Technologies sought from other EuroCellNet participants

We have no access to superresolution microscopes yet.
