Participation in Working Groups

  • WG2 - Structural analysis of biomolecules involved in mechanobiology
  • WG3 - New methodologies to study mechanobiology of cells and tissues
  • WG4 - Mechanobiological principles of rare and common diseases

Research Interests

I am a first year PhD student at the faculty of Biotechnology on Wroclaw’s University. Me, and the group I am working in – leaded by prof. R. Rzepecki, we are working on nuclear envelope proteins mainly nuclear lamina (in Drosophila melanogaster), but also other nuclear proteins e.g. topoisomerase II.
I am interested in nucleus organization, dynamics and it’s activity. My doctoral thesis project is focused on evaluating global changes in chromatin organization due to heat shock (in context of association of lamins and topoII with chromatin). Furthermore, I am working on comparing changes of nuclear protein level and also gene expression during and after stress conditions.
